Plastics Manufacturing Reliability Technician
Job Description
Job DescriptionPlastics Manufacturing Reliability Technician
Location: Neptune City, NJ
Schedule: Full-time with day and night opportunities (12-hour shifts)
A day in the life
When your shift starts, you’ll walk the production floor with a sharp eye on our injection and blow molding lines. You’ll check compressors and chillers, verify HVAC performance, and review overnight CMMS entries. A conveyor trips a fault? You isolate it safely, diagnose the electrical issue (up to 480V, three-phase), and get the line back on pace. A mold change is coming up? You coordinate with production, assist with equipment relocation, and verify all utilities—DI water, compressed air, vacuum—are ready. Between calls, you document work in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), contribute to root cause analysis, and keep your area 5S-clean. Throughout the day, you partner with engineering and production to minimize downtime and champion reliability.

Reporting to the Plant Engineer, you will install, maintain, and repair plant equipment and systems in alignment with ISO 9001:2015, cGMP, and Flexcraft standards. Your work directly supports safety, uptime, and quality across our plastics manufacturing facility.
