An opportunity is available for an experienced Radiology Technologist to provide advanced imaging services in a high-acuity hospital environment located in Shawnee, KS. This contract position offers a consistent evening schedule, ideal for professionals seeking a specialized role in diagnostic radiology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging examinations utilizing X-ray equipment across multiple connected buildings.
  • Accurately operate computer systems to input and retrieve patient testing data ensuring quality and compliance.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver timely and precise radiologic support to patients.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Participate in required orientation and training sessions as scheduled by the facility.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a Radiology Technologist in a high-acuity hospital setting.
  • Graduate of an accredited two-year Radiology Technology program.
  • Current BLS, ARRT certification, and Licensed Radiologic Technologist (LRT) certification.
  • Kansas Board of Healing Arts (KSBHA) license must be held at the time of application.
  • Proficient in utilizing healthcare computer systems for patient data management.

Schedule:

  • 10.5-hour evening shifts from 11:00 AM to 8:30 PM, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
  • No weekend or on-call requirements; holiday work as needed based on unit demand.
