Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide input to develop, and/ or optimize manufacturing processes for generator rotors and stators to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Conduct time and motion studies to identify areas for process improvement and implement lean manufacturing principles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of new processes and technologies.
  • Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Compile and maintain documentation for manufacturing processes, including work instructions, standard operating procedures, and process flow diagrams.
  • Perform SAP transactions and work with the financial organization to provide updates to costing data for the transfer price round Jul & Apr.
  • Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies in all manufacturing activities.
  • Provide technical support and training to production staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the production of generator rotors and stators or similar components.
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and process optimization techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings & BOMs
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Min. 2-3 yrs. Experience in Manufacturing & shop floor
  • Excellent written and verbal communications.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to a changing work environment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.

Pay Range: $70K - $80K/annum
