Key Qualifications and Certifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
- Current New Mexico RN license or a valid Compact state license
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- ACLS Certification (AHA)
- PALS Certification (AHA) or ENPC
- TNCC or ATCN certification required
- CPI certification or equivalent preferred
- Experience in emergency nursing or acute care settings preferred
Schedule and Responsibilities:
- Night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM with rotating weekend coverage (up to 2 weekends per four-week schedule)
- Patient care coordination tailored to the patients age group and needs
- Supporting unit functions during low census or acuity by assisting as a sitter or with CNA tasks
- Ability to respond effectively to emergency situations and maintain professional communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Physical and Work Environment Requirements:
- Capability to manage physically demanding activities including patient transfers and extended standing
- Comfortable working in a clean, ventilated environment with potential exposure to infectious diseases and radiation
- Adaptable to changing schedules and emergency call situations
