Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Chef to lead our kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning menus, ensuring high food quality and consistency, managing kitchen staff, and maintaining a safe, clean, and cost-effective kitchen environment. Creativity, leadership, and a deep understanding of food preparation are key to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:

Ensure food is prepared to the highest standards of taste, quality, and presentation

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations

Manage kitchen staff scheduling, training, and performance

Manage food cost while minimizing waste

Collaborate with restaurant management on new menu items and event catering

Monitor equipment maintenance and report any issues promptly
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Chef or in a leadership role in a commercial kitchen

Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen operations

Excellent leadership and communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

Culinary school degree or equivalent experience preferred.
