Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time occupational therapy position is available to provide support within K-12 schools in the El Dorado Hills and Rescue areas. This contract opportunity will cover maternity leave through May and is ideal for those with experience in California school settings who can deliver on-site services across multiple locations.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students with moderate to severe needs
- Conduct assessments and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Collaborate with educators and support teams to develop and implement therapy goals and plans
- Manage an itinerant caseload across multiple school sites within the region
Qualifications:
- Valid occupational therapy licensure and credentials to practice in California
- Experience working within public school systems, preferably in K-12 environments
- Skilled in supporting students with moderate to severe disabilities
- Ability to provide consistent onsite services and adapt to an itinerant role
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to engage with staff and families
Location:
- This role is based in El Dorado Hills, CA, with travel to nearby school sites in Rescue, CA
