Job Title: LPN – Outpatient Oncology Clinic
Location: Lacey, WA (Primary)
- Float Requirement: Aberdeen, WA (954 Anderson Dr) and Centralia, WA (2015 Cooks Hill Rd, Suite 200) as needed (3–4 times per month)
- Mileage will not be reimbursed
Start Date: ASAP (June 1st Start)
Schedule: 5x8’s or 4x10’s approved
Employment Type: Travel or Local (Both accepted)
Interview: Required prior to offer
Position Requirements
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- First-time travelers accepted
Certifications:
- BLS required
Floating Requirement:
- Must be willing to float between clinics in Lacey, Aberdeen, and Centralia as needed
- Clinicians must confirm ability to float 3–4 times per month
Core Clinical Responsibilities:
- Provide patient and family education and support
- Perform vital sign monitoring
- Conduct pain assessment and management and document patient concerns for providers
- Handle pharmacy calls and patient refill requests
- Perform medication reconciliation
- Manage labeling of specimens
- Conduct follow-up phone calls and telephone triage
- Complete patient health questionnaires, history, and allergy documentation
