Job DescriptionAssociation Accounting Lead
All In One Community Management is a leading community management company dedicated to
providing exceptional service to homeowners’ associations, condominiums, and other managed
communities. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our
team as the Association Accounting Lead. This role is a key member of our Leadership Team,
overseeing financial operations, ensuring accuracy, driving efficiency, and contributing to strategic
decision-making for company growth.

Job Title and OverviewThe Association Accounting Lead is responsible for leading, managing, and holding accountable
the accounting team responsible for association accounting. This role involves overseeing
accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, reconciliation, reporting, property resales, insurance, and collections. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver, a self-starter, and an effective people manager with a strong accounting background and a
passion for delivering results in the community management industry.

Essential Job FunctionsTeam Leadership and Management

  • Lead, manage, train, and ensure accountability within the accounting team.
  • Oversee association accounting team, including AR, AP, GL, Reconciliation, Reporting, Property Resales, and Collections.
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team.
  • Support financial understanding and education of team members and clients.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide strategic insights to support company growth and decision-making as part of the Leadership Team.

Financial Oversight

  • Monthly and annual financial statements for clients.
  • Resolve accounting escalations.
  • Daily final approval of AP invoices for association payments.
  • Bank transfers.
  • HOA tax preparation coordination with CPA and making IRS and GA payments.
  • Verify and process owner-requested refunds.
  • Banking partner liaison and administrator.
  • Manage banking payment portal.
  • Point of Contact for audits, bank fraud reporting, loans, and other financial compliance requirements.
  • New client financial setup

Skillset
Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA a plus) or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, with a strong foundation in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and budgeting.
  • Proven experience in leadership or supervisory role, with excellent people management skills.
  • Strong knowledge accounting practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and contribute strategically as part of the Leadership Team.

Preferred

  • Industry accounting software proficiency, i.e. CINC, Vantaca, or VMS.
  • Experience in the community association management industry.
  • Background working with legal/collection firms.
