Duties and Responsibilities:
- Respond in a timely manner to all shipping/receiving quality issues.
- Ensure all outgoing orders are accurate and scheduled.
- Maintain daily communication with customer service.
- Assist in daily, weekly and monthly inventory counts.
- Ensure assignments are completed and documented properly.
- Ensure proper segregation and identification of product.
- Help receive, assist keying into computer as well as confirm all customer orders.
- Pick tickets and produce shipping manifests.
- Prepare all customer orders for billing.
- Works closely with Warehouse Manager and billing department to ensure orders get shipped and customer gets billed timely and correctly, scanning paperwork of all customer furnished raw materials and shipping manifests to fax or email to customers as needed.
- Maintain shipping and receiving logs to ensure those histories are recorded and available if/when needed.
- Process internal shipping requests of samples, molds and machine parts promptly
- Work as a backup for the Warehouse Manager when needed.
Requirements:
- Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time
- Requires frequent squatting, bending, stooping, sitting and stretching
- Requires occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds
- Requires working within areas which are not air-conditioned/climate controlled
- Requires working on Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Team player with co-workers, suppliers and customers
