Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Winchester, Kentucky. This role is essential for ensuring the seamless management of inventory, supply chain processes, and interdepartmental collaboration within a healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will excel in maintaining accurate records, reconciling discrepancies, and supporting hospital operations through effective inventory control.

Responsibilities:
• Reconcile pricing, quantity, and item discrepancies for non-storeroom orders and process necessary adjustments.
• Update departmental inventory levels, including changes, additions, and deletions, to maintain accurate stock records.
• Utilize RF Smart systems to receive deliveries, scan inventory, and ensure consistent supply across hospital units.
• Pull items from the storeroom and manage the setup of new inventory items as needed, including updating material labels.
• Maintain organization and stocking of the onsite materials room to serve as backup emergent stock for hospital departments.
• Collaborate closely with the Purchasing Manager to address inventory-related issues and support new projects.
• Conduct research for department managers to identify contract-priced items and provide samples as needed.
• Assist with year-end inventory processes for all supply areas within the hospital.
• Drive company vehicles to transport supplies between hospital locations, ensuring timely delivery.
• Cross-train on all aspects of the purchasing office to provide support across functions as required.• Proficiency in inventory management systems such as ERP Solutions, Cerner Technologies, and Epic Software.
• Strong analytical and auditing skills with the ability to problem-solve effectively.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for clear interaction with staff, patients, and vendors.
• Familiarity with hospital department functions and organizational workflows.
• Ability to work independently and make critical decisions with minimal supervision.
• Skilled in handling stress and maintaining positive relationships with nursing staff, medical personnel, and hospital administration.
• Comfortable driving company vehicles for supply transportation between locations.
• Handle with Care certification to be obtained within 30 days of orientation and maintained annually.
