Job DescriptionStructured Finance Associate Attorney
Direct Counsel is seeking a Structured Finance Associate Attorney to join a highly regarded Am Law 100 firm in Washington, D.C.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an attorney with 2–3 years of finance experience to join a nationally recognized Structured Finance practice advising financial institutions and other market participants on sophisticated warehouse lending, securitization, and secured finance transactions.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in representing clients in structured finance, warehouse lending, and secured finance transactions.

Draft, review, and negotiate complex lending documentation, including warehouse credit agreements and related financing documents.

Support the structuring, execution, and closing of sophisticated financing transactions.

Manage multiple transactions simultaneously while coordinating with clients, lenders, and multidisciplinary legal teams.

Conduct legal research and provide strategic analysis on financing structures and transaction issues.

Collaborate with senior attorneys to deliver practical, business-focused legal solutions.
Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.

Active Bar membership in good standing.

2–3 years of experience in finance, structured finance, securitization, or secured lending.

Experience with structured finance and securitization transactions is preferred.

Experience drafting complex lending documentation, including warehouse credit agreements, is preferred.

Strong analytical, drafting, organizational, and client service skills.

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.

Ability to manage multiple sophisticated matters in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
