A health services system in Albany, New York, is seeking an experienced, licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team as a House Supervisor.
About the Opportunity:
<ul>
<li>Schedule: Monday to Friday</li>
<li>Hours: 3pm to 11pm (8-hour shifts with a 30-minute unpaid lunch)</li>
</ul>
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Ensuring the safety of all residents, staff, and the facility plant during the shift</li>
<li>Supervising care provided to all residents and the staff on duty</li>
<li>Working with pediatric and young adult residents</li>
<li>Taking charge of a specific unit, including administering medications and treatments</li>
<li>Independently managing staffing and making decisions regarding nursing care</li>
<li>Performing other duties, as needed</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>3+ years of Nursing experience</li>
<li>Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing</li>
<li>NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license</li>
<li>CPR Certification</li>
<li>Supervisory experience of at least 1 year, with a preference for 3 years</li>
</ul>
Desired Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's Degree in Nursing</li>
<li>Advanced certification in Nursing</li>
</ul>
