Are you a strategic HR professional with a passion for recruitment operations?

Russell Tobin is seeking an experienced HR Manager-level contractor to support our manufacturing client as an HR & Talent Operations Project Manager. This role will focus on accelerating recruitment efforts across key operational functions including Supply Chain, Sourcing, SIOP, Materials Planning & Logistics, and Quality.

Job Title: HR & Talent Operations Project Manager (Contractor)
Pay: $55/hr. to $63/hr. (Based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Days
Location: Plymouth, MN 55442 (Hybrid)
Contract Duration: 4 months (with potential for extension)

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a strategic partner between HR, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders to streamline recruitment efforts.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define role requirements and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Manage recruitment workflows across key operational functions including Supply Chain, Sourcing, SIOP, Materials Planning & Logistics, and Quality.
  • Provide weekly updates to stakeholders on hiring progress, risks, and roles needing escalation.
  • Participate in candidate screening and interviews, offering insights based on functional expertise.
  • Maintain organized documentation and tracking tools to ensure visibility and accountability.
  • Identify and address delays or misalignments in the hiring process, recommending proactive solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven HR experience at the Manager level, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of operations, supply chain, sourcing, and quality functions.
  • Ability to manage multiple recruitment projects with precision and follow-through.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with structured Talent Acquisition systems and processes.
  • Capable of evaluating candidate qualifications and contributing to selection decisions.

Education:

  • Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (required).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
