LanceSoft is seeking a local contract nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a local contract nursing job in Chesapeake, Virginia.

MS/Tele RN at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center in Chesapeake, VA

💼 Assignment Details:
• Role: Registered Nurse – MS/Tele (Neuro/Stroke Unit)
• Duration: 13 Weeks (extension possible)
• Shift: Day Shift – 3x12 or 4x12 (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
• Schedule: Every other weekend + holidays as needed

🧠 Key Responsibilities:
• Manage Med-Surg/Telemetry patients (ratio 1:7)
• Interpret telemetry & manage cardiac dysrhythmias
• Provide care for neuro/stroke patients
• Perform IV starts, central line care, and medication administration
• Respond to rapid changes using code/rapid response protocols

✅ Requirements (Strict):
• 2+ years MS/Tele RN experience
• Travel experience REQUIRED
• Epic proficiency
• Experience with neuro/stroke patients
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (AHA required)
• Active VA or Compact RN License
