Job Summary:
The Clinic
Aide supports clinical programs and general operations with a variety of tasks including providing childcare, providing support to therapist during sessions, cleaning and sanitizing therapy materials and spaces, and assisting with the creation of therapy materials.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Covering Transitions
- If in a session, brings patient to transition for the 10 minutes of transition.
- Communicate late pick-ups to appropriate channels.

- Receive and Unpack/Deliver deliveries and supplies
- Clinic Supply inventory
- Maintain first aid kits and restock materials.
- Closing duties (walk-throughs)
- Coverage and clinical sessions as scheduled (position maintains minimum of .5 billable FTE)
- Able to navigate EMR/scheduling systems to check patient schedules
- General clinic cleanliness and maintenance as directed by Clinic Director or Assistant Director
- Clean and sanitize surfaces and therapy toys, tools, dishes, and other materials.
- Assist with clinic signage and special event setup & cleanup.
- Create therapy material.

Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Safely handle some tools.
- Wear PPE to prepare and use potentially hazardous cleaning chemicals.
- Prolonged sitting or standing, sometimes on the floor or child sized furniture, and quick transitions from sitting to standing positions.
- Occasionally requires physical exertion to manually move, lift, carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials.
- Utilize quick body movements.
- Walk and run, including on stairways.
- Stoop, bend, and reach.
- Work in noisy and crowded environments.
- Lift, safely block, or move a child up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to focus.
Training Provided:
- Behavioral and physical
strategies
to prevent and safely respond to challenging, dangerous, or crisis level client behavior.
- First aid and CPR certification.
- Safe handling and preparation of cleaning chemicals.
- Best practices for cleaning and sanitizing.
