A retail and long-term care pharmacy opportunity is available for a licensed Pharmacist in Scotland, SD, on a contract basis. The role involves working flexible per diem shifts with scheduled hours primarily Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, including specific assignments on Fridays, March 20th and from April 24th to May 1st.
Key Responsibilities:• Dispense medications as prescribed by physicians and health practitioners• Provide accurate information and counseling to patients regarding medication use• Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure patient satisfaction and safety
Desired Qualifications and Experience:• Current pharmacist license in South Dakota is required• Experience in retail and/or long-term care pharmacy settings preferred• Strong communication skills with a patient-focused approach• Ability to work independently and adhere to regulatory requirements
Location:• Scotland, South Dakota (with work assignments in Yankton, SD)
