Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time, onsite role in Bessemer, AL, is for a Speech Language Pathologist serving K-12 students in a school setting. The position requires a licensed AL Speech Language Pathologist with a focus on school-based practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in professional development and mentorship opportunities
Qualifications:
- Valid Alabama Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Experience or certification as an SLP with a school-based focus preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to supporting student success in communication and learning
