Medasource is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Suffolk, Virginia.

Position Details
12 HR PM
At least 2 years of experience
We are looking for individuals that have a well-rounded ED experience (triage, trauma etc)
Patients requiring a higher level of care will be transferred to an appropriate facility. Basic ED patient care is not limited to IV insertion, blood draws, Obtaining blood cultures, bladder scanning, In/Out catheter, wound care, laceration and wound repair, minor orthopedic care, diabetics/cardiac patients- care until discharge or transfer.
Dysrhythmia exam required at orientation (study guide available)
Will not accept locals (locals are considered within 50 miles)
BLS, ACLS, & PALS
NRP (preferred)
Accredited stroke facility

Unit Specific Details
Triage (2 rooms), RAZ- 4 beds , 12 Main Treatment Beds (MTA), Inpatient Tele Unit-18 beds
Respiratory therapy onsite- utilizes Bi-Pap/Hi-Flow/Ventilator
Radiology- CT/MRI/U/S, Plain Diagnostic Imaging/Vascular
Utilizes ER techs, RN’s, RT’s, MD/PA for provider
Pharmacy Onsite
Adults/Peds/Geriatrics
