Pridestaff, on behalf of a client in Miramar, is seeking an overnight Conveyor System Technician (Overnight) responsible for the continuous operation, preventative maintenance, and emergency repair of complex automated distribution systems. This role moves beyond general mechanics into the realm of system optimization, belt tracking, and electrical troubleshooting to ensure zero downtime during peak production hours.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain equipment to ensure reliability – oil, grease, adjust as needed (conveyor and related equipment, forklifts, etc.).
• Basic building maintenance (i.e. repairs to interior/exterior building).
• Maintain cost in department (parts, cleaning supplies, etc.).
• Set specifications for new equipment and forklifts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or equivalent training and work experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience specifically maintaining Hytrol, Intralox, or Dematic conveyor systems (or similar)
• Basic computer skills, Microsoft Office
• Must be a results-oriented professional
• Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail, and meet deadlines
• Analytical and Reporting skills

Schedule: Monday - Thursday from 6:00 pm to 5:00 am or later
