Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Special Education Teacher position is available for a travel assignment in Saint Paul, MN, at an elementary school serving kindergarten through second grade. This role requires an individual licensed for TIER 3 and 4 and holding an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) endorsement. The position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload of 15-20 students across all disability classifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students with a wide range of disabilities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies to meet educational goals.
- Provide a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to compliance standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid TIER 3 or 4 Special Education teaching license.
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) endorsement on license is required.
- Experience working with students with diverse disabilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload of 15-20 students effectively.
