Overview
We are seeking a driven Commercial Bus Sales Representative to join our growing Truck and Bus dealership in Hyattsville, MD. This role focuses on selling new and used commercial buses to municipalities, schools, shuttle companies, transit authorities, private operators, and fleet customers.

What You’ll Do
- Sell new commercial buses to fleet and retail customers
- Develop relationships with municipalities, transit agencies, schools, and private fleet operators
- Prospect and generate new business through outbound calls, networking, and territory development
- Manage the full commercial sales cycle from lead generation to delivery
- Prepare sales proposals, bids, RFP responses, and government fleet contracts
- Coordinate with Finance, Service, and Parts departments to ensure smooth vehicle delivery
- Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline management, and customer follow-up
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals
- Stay informed on bus specifications, upfits, fleet requirements, and transportation regulations
Qualifications
- 2+ years of sales experience (commercial vehicle sales, fleet sales, heavy equipment sales, transportation sales, or B2B sales preferred)
- Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and closing skills
- Experience responding to RFPs, government bids, or fleet purchasing contracts preferred but not required
- Self-motivated with ability to manage a sales territory and pipeline
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- High School Diploma or GED required (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
Compensation & Benefits
$55,000 – $90,000+ annual earning potential (base salary + commission)
