Job Description

Metal fabrication trainee for saw department and general labor. Employee responsibilities include material handling, part sorting, grinding/deburring, packaging, running saws, cleaning machinery, and general metal fabrication. The successful applicant will have:

• Ability to read basic blueprints or the willingness and aptitude to successfully complete training for blueprint reading
• Self motivated
• Strong organizational skills
• Good communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Strong work ethic, including good attendance record
• Ability to work well with others and follow multi-step directions
• Ability or aptitude for using precision measuring instruments
• Minimum 1 year manufacturing labor experience, preferred
• Ability to drive a forklift, or willingness and ability to learn to drive a forklift
• Willingness to attend paid training related to the department, if necessary
