Full-Time Neonatologist Opportunity – Cartersville, GAPosition Type: Permanent | Not accepting LocumsLocation: Cartersville, Georgia (45 minutes north of Atlanta)Level II NICU | Nationally Ranked FacilityClinical Responsibilities

• Comprehensive neonatal care in a Level II NICU
• Attend high-risk and C-section deliveries
• Manage 12-bed nursery (includes well-baby care if pediatrician unavailable)
• Rounding in-house during the day
• Home call overnight
• Newborn resuscitation and stabilization
• Collaborate with nurses and allied health staff
• Participate in quality improvement and care coordination

Schedule

• Day: In-house rounding
• Night: Call from home
• Weekends: Not explicitly stated (likely included in call rotation)

Candidate Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible – Neonatology
• Eligible for Georgia medical license
• Strong interest in collaborative, high-quality neonatal care
