Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time School Psychologist position is available in a K-12 public school setting, located on-site in Middletown, Delaware. This contract role spans the current school year, starting ASAP or by September 2025, and concluding mid-June 2026. The position requires 37.5 hours per week, providing consistent support throughout the academic year.
Responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments, interpreting data, collaborating with educators and families, developing intervention plans, and supporting students social-emotional and academic progress. The role also involves complying with state and federal regulations and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid school psychologist certification or licensure
- Experience working with K-12 students in educational settings
- Proficient in administering and interpreting a variety of psychological assessments
- Strong understanding of IDEA and other relevant special education laws
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and community agencies
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to supporting student growth and well-being
