Your Typical Day:

• Supervise and mentor a team of Business & Community Engagement Specialists across assigned regions
• Build relationships with employers, industry leaders, and community organizations to develop workforce solutions
• Lead the planning and execution of hiring events, job readiness programs, and resource fairs
• Develop and manage department budget in collaboration with the Chief Mission Officer
• Ensure accurate and timely tracking of business engagement metrics, job placements, and community outreach efforts
• Use labor market intelligence and employer feedback to drive continuous program improvements
• Coordinate closely with Opportunity Center staff to align services and support holistic employment outcomes
• Facilitate job readiness training and help connect clients to credentialing or post-secondary opportunities
• Train staff on effective engagement strategies, data tracking, and compliance with grant requirements
• Represent Goodwill at business roundtables, workforce coalitions, and community events
• Assist with workforce development grant initiatives and performance outcome reporting
• Drive the team’s performance to meet or exceed monthly KPIs for individuals served, trained, and placed
• Prepare and present program data and outcomes to internal stakeholders and community partners
• Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
• Minimum of three years’ experience in workforce development, community engagement, or a similar role (Goodwill experience considered)
• At least two years of supervisory experience preferred
• Experience developing business and community relationships or working in case management
• Demonstrated ability to manage diverse teams and collaborate with multiple stakeholders
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking and data presentation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and data management tools
• Ability to collect, analyze, and report on data to support performance outcomes and funding compliance
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Comfort working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and a professional demeanor with all audiences
• Must possess a valid driver’s license, own insurance, and reliable transportation
• Willingness to travel frequently and work evenings or weekends as needed
