Position Summary
The Graphic Designer shall provide graphic design services in three areas on an ongoing basis: publication design, including fact sheets, infographics, development of templates, flyers/brochures, and presentation design, including graphics, icons, PowerPoint presentation slides, and templates.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce products that interface with publisher-level products such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and MS Publisher to produce a variety of templates for marketing and presenting government agency products.
- Works with in-house graphic design staff and printers.
- Assist with producing standard products to be used in marketing and outreach.
- Work on building new material for specific meetings at short deadlines.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Art, Graphic Design, Illustration, or a closely related field.
- At least three (3) years of responsible work in graphic arts, preferably in a public environment.
- Proficient in creative software and programs, including InDesign, Illustrator, MS Publisher, and Adobe Creative.
- Exceptional conceptual and creative skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work with various stakeholders.
- Organized with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of design and layout of graphic materials.
- Links or examples of work desired.
