We seek a qualified, motivated, and progressive individual to join our team as a Graphic Designer.

Position Summary

The Graphic Designer shall provide graphic design services in three areas on an ongoing basis: publication design, including fact sheets, infographics, development of templates, flyers/brochures, and presentation design, including graphics, icons, PowerPoint presentation slides, and templates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce products that interface with publisher-level products such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and MS Publisher to produce a variety of templates for marketing and presenting government agency products.
  • Works with in-house graphic design staff and printers.
  • Assist with producing standard products to be used in marketing and outreach.
  • Work on building new material for specific meetings at short deadlines.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Art, Graphic Design, Illustration, or a closely related field.
  • At least three (3) years of responsible work in graphic arts, preferably in a public environment.
  • Proficient in creative software and programs, including InDesign, Illustrator, MS Publisher, and Adobe Creative.
  • Exceptional conceptual and creative skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work with various stakeholders.
  • Organized with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of design and layout of graphic materials.
  • Links or examples of work desired.
