ROLE
We need an experienced Project Manager at the United States Secret Service (USSS) Asset Forfeiture Branch (AFB). The AFB is a division of the USSS Criminal Investigative Division responsible for administering, tracking, and managing the disposition of all non-evidentiary property seized and forfeited under USSS jurisdiction. This includes ensuring compliance with asset forfeiture statutes, maintaining case records, coordinating legal processes, and supporting the restoration of assets to victims when applicable. In this role, you will manage day-to-day contractor operations, oversee staffing and compliance, ensure personnel are trained and meet performance requirements, and serve as the single point of contact between the Government and the contractor. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee daily operations of contractor staff supporting asset forfeiture functions.
- Maintain working knowledge of all listed labor categories and associated responsibilities.
- Ensure operational execution, contractual compliance, and performance oversight.
- Manage customer relations and support strategic planning for contract areas.
- Ensure staff are trained to meet all contract requirements.
- Understand legal processing requirements for all types of asset forfeiture.
- Provide required security forms for replacements within 14 days of employee departure.
- Uphold satisfactory standards of employee conduct, appearance, and performance.
- Take necessary disciplinary action with contractor staff when appropriate.
- Monitor timeliness and completeness of contractor task submissions.
- Identify staff performance issues and develop corrective action plans.
- Coordinate workload with the USSS Program Manager.
- Maintain sufficient staffing levels to meet workload demands.
- Pre-screen applicants, coordinate USSS interviews, and manage candidate reviews.
- Submit monthly, quarterly, and annual staffing reports to the Government.
- Serve as the single point of contact between the contractor and the customer.
- Perform other contract-relevant duties as needed to support the mission.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Three (3) years of directly relevant project management experience involving data analysis, legal assistance, training and recruitment related to asset forfeiture.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in related field - required
