Pinnacle Healthcare, Inc dba Paul Jain, MD & Associates is an outpatient Internal Medicine/Pain Management clinical practice with 6 locations. This specific position will be for a full time Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP)

Role Description

Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner - $130-160k+/year (salary based on experience), all outpatient, no wknds/call, full benefits with a full time virtual medical scribe who will assist with writing your reports and help with admin duties.

This is a full-time on-site role as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner located in the San Diego Metropolitan Area. The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing comprehensive outpatient care, conducting physical exams, diagnosing and treating illnesses, ordering and interpreting tests, prescribing medications, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals. The role also entails patient education and the maintenance of accurate patient records. No evenings, weekends, or on-call duties are required.

Qualifications

Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner with a current CA state license

Proficiency in conducting musculoskeletal and neurologic physical exams, diagnosing, and treating spinal, joint and brain injuries

Experience in ordering, interpreting tests, and prescribing non narcotic analgesic medications

Experience in performing trigger point injections for muscle spasms, cortisone joint injections (shoulder/knee/elbow/wrist)

Excellent patient communication and education skills.

Proficiency in Spanish is highly preferred.

Ability to maintain accurate patient records

Strong teamwork and collaboration skills

BLS certification

Relevant experience in an outpatient setting is a plus
