Are you a dedicated early childhood professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for supporting both children and educators? We are seeking an Assistant Director to join our team and help lead a thriving early childhood program in a dynamic, supportive environment.
As Assistant Director, you will balance administrative responsibilities with hands-on involvement in the classrooms, ensuring our center runs smoothly and continues to provide a high-quality learning experience for children. Youll serve as a bridge between staff and the Director, modeling professionalism, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence in early childhood education.
What Youll Bring:
- Previous management experience in a licensed early childhood setting (required)
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- A pleasant, professional demeanor and excellent communication skills with staff, families, and community partners
- A genuine passion for caring for and educating young children
- Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to step into the classroom when needed
- Educational qualifications: CDA, ECE degree, or relevant certification
- CPR/First Aid Certification, TB test, and all state-required trainings
- Ability to work any shift between 6:00am 6:00pm
- Commitment to maintaining licensing standards and required professional development hours
