Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Assignment Type: 13-Week Contract to Hire

RPh on the Go is seeking a Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician for a 13-week contract-to-hire assignment in Fairfield, Ohio. This role offers the opportunity to grow into a permanent position with a respected pharmacy, making it an excellent step for technicians passionate about patient safety and quality care.

Responsibilities:

Prepare sterile IV admixtures, including antibiotics, chemotherapy, and TPN, in compliance with USP 797/800 standards.
Maintain aseptic technique and follow all sterile compounding procedures.
Accurately label, package, and document compounded medications.
Support inventory management, cleanroom upkeep, and equipment maintenance.
Work collaboratively with pharmacists and team members to ensure timely and accurate medication preparation.

Shift Options:

MondayFriday: 12:00pm8:00pm, 2:00pm10:00pm, or 4:00pm12:00am
No weekends required

Requirements:

Active Ohio Pharmacy Technician license in good standing.
Previous sterile compounding experience required.
Solid understanding of USP 797/800 guidelines.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a cleanroom setting.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
