A growing mail order pharmacy located in Athens, Ohio is seeking a licensed Pharmacist (RPh) for a contract position. This opportunity allows for either part-time or full-time availability, offering flexibility to fit your preferred schedule. Ideal candidates will appreciate a verification-focused role with limited direct patient interaction, working in a mail order environment dedicated to accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately verify prescriptions to ensure patient safety
- Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Oversee dispensing workflow within the mail order pharmacy setting
- Maintain thorough documentation and uphold quality assurance standards
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff to facilitate timely and efficient order fulfillment
Schedule:
- Monday Friday: 9:00 AM 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM 4:00 PM
- Sunday: Closed
- Flexible scheduling available to accommodate part-time or full-time candidates within operating hours
Qualifications:
- Current, active Ohio Pharmacist license in good standing
- No history of negative licensure actions
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a mail order pharmacy environment
- Previous experience with prescription verification preferred
