Position Summary
The Superintendent is responsible for leading all field operations from mobilization through project completion. This role oversees subcontractors, self-perform crews, scheduling, safety, logistics, and quality control to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and experienced managing commercial construction projects in active environments.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and supervise all field construction activities

Lead and motivate field personnel and subcontractors to meet schedule and production goals

Develop and maintain weekly schedules; collaborate on master project schedule

Manage self-perform activities and track productivity

Order materials, equipment, and coordinate inspections

Create and maintain jobsite logistics plans

Enforce jobsite safety standards and proactively address hazards

Maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, inspectors, and trade partners

Ensure quality control across all phases of construction

Mentor and supervise foremen and field crews
Qualifications
-
5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction

Experience with scheduling, material procurement, subcontractor coordination, and quality control

Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and field operations

Ability to manage diverse teams and personalities

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word required)

Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera, Navisworks, MS Project, or similar tools preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management preferred but not required

Bilingual English/Spanish a plus

Knowledge of LEED, SWPPP, and sustainability practices a plus
Physical Requirements

Ability to work in an active outdoor construction environment

Frequent bending, walking, lifting, and climbing

Ability to lift 40+ lbs
