Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented File Clerk to join our team. This full-time, contract role involves data entry, filing, and clerical duties related to securities and cash transactions for investors. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work in a team environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of processing, data entry, moderately complex financial calculations, and clerical duties related to securities and cash transactions for investors.
- Generate system reports and verify data accuracy.
- Maintain organized records and assist with document management.
- Lift and transport boxes of files weighing up to 20 lbs as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge & Skills
Minimum:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to process data accurately within deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred:
- Ability to handle job responsibilities with frequent interruptions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with banking or custody systems.
