Supply Chain Planning Analyst


Location: St. Louis Metro East (On-Site – 5 Days/Week)

Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Supply Chain Planning Analyst to join a growing manufacturing organization in the St. Louis Metro East area. This role will play a critical part in aligning demand planning, production scheduling, and inventory management to support efficient operations and business growth. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in supply chain planning within a manufacturing environment and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.


Key Responsibilities


Develop and maintain demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and input from sales and operations teams. Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales to ensure alignment between supply plans and customer demand. Analyze inventory levels, production capacity, and material requirements to optimize service levels and minimize costs. Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes, including data preparation, reporting, and cross-functional coordination. Identify supply chain risks and recommend mitigation strategies to avoid disruptions. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as forecast accuracy, inventory turns, and service levels. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across planning, forecasting, and inventory management processes. Utilize ERP/MRP systems and data analytics tools to enhance planning accuracy and operational efficiency.


Qualifications


Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or a related field

3+ years of experience in supply chain planning, demand forecasting, or production planning within a manufacturing environment

Strong understanding of end-to-end manufacturing operations, including procurement, production, and sales forecasting

Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP/MRP systems

Proficiency in Tableau or Power BI

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills

Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments

Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
