Job DescriptionWe are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team on a contract basis in Puyallup, Washington. In this role, you will provide support to customers by addressing inquiries, processing payments, and ensuring a positive experience. This position requires adaptability and patience as the organization undergoes system upgrades.
Responsibilities:
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries related to billing, payments, and account setup.
• Greet visitors and assist walk-in customers with utility payments and other service needs.
• Process mail, including sorting and handling invoices and payments accurately.
• Conduct research to resolve customer questions or concerns effectively.
• Maintain familiarity with organizational changes and system updates to provide seamless service.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency during transitional periods.
• Utilize utility-specific software and Microsoft Excel for tasks such as data entry and reporting.
• Serve a customer base of over 11,000 individuals with reliability and attention to detail.
• Handle email correspondence and inbound calls to address customer needs.
• Process payments efficiently while adhering to company procedures.• Proven reliability and ability to adapt to team changes.
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel and familiarity with the Office Suite.
• Experience with utility-specific software, such as Springbrook.
• Strong customer service skills, including handling inquiries via phone and email.
• Ability to process payments and manage invoices accurately.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on professionalism.
• Capacity to conduct research and resolve customer issues effectively.
• Patience and adaptability during organizational transitions.
