Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to oversee and enhance HR operations at our Midwest City, Oklahoma location. This role involves managing employee records, benefits, and compliance with employment regulations, as well as fostering a positive workplace environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of HR practices to support both employees and organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including banking information, time off, licensing, and background checks.
• Oversee and implement changes to employee benefits plans, ensuring they meet organizational needs.
• Manage updates to employee statuses and ensure proper documentation.
• Stay informed about changes in payroll tax laws and employment regulations to ensure compliance.
• Review and revise policies and procedures to align with current legal and organizational standards.
• Document and manage payroll records to prepare for annual audits.
• Prepare and submit government reports, including certified payroll documentation.
• Recruit, train, and supervise administrative staff to ensure smooth HR operations.
• Ensure compliance with multiple union agreements by reviewing and maintaining necessary documentation.
• Prepare reconciliations and reports required by union agreements.• Proven experience in employee relations and HR administration.
• Strong knowledge of employee benefits management and HRIS systems.
• Familiarity with onboarding processes and best practices.
• Expertise in maintaining compliance with employment laws and payroll tax regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise administrative teams.
• Experience with union agreements and related reporting requirements.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing regulations and organizational needs.
