Position Overview
The Non-Profit Tax Services Leader will oversee the tax compliance and advisory services for non-profit organizations. The role involves leading a team of tax professionals, ensuring adherence to tax regulations, and providing strategic guidance to clients in the non-profit sector to enhance their financial sustainability and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of tax professionals specializing in non-profit tax services.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations relevant to non-profit organizations.
- Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to non-profit clients.
- Conduct training and workshops for clients on tax-related matters specific to the non-profit sector.
- Review and prepare tax returns for various non-profit entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Develop and maintain client relationships to understand their unique challenges and provide tailored solutions.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations affecting non-profit organizations.
Qualifications
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
- Proven experience in tax compliance and advisory services, preferably within the non-profit sector.
- Strong understanding of tax regulations governing non-profit organizations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
- Experience with Non-Profit (NFP) or Not For Profit organizations is a plus.
