We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, particularly in casual and fine dining environments. Duties
- Supervise and manage front of house staff, ensuring high levels of service and guest satisfaction.
- Oversee cash handling procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Utilize Focus POS system for efficient order processing and payment management.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food service and quality control.
- Train and mentor new employees on service standards, menu knowledge, and operational procedures.
- Address guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner to enhance customer experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a managerial role within the food service industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of casual dining and fine dining standards.
- Proficiency in cash handling practices and experience with Aloha POS or similar systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead a team.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for hospitality and commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences.
- Experience in shift management and supervising staff is essential.
