Job Description

Nursing Supervisor - OR - Des Moines, IA

Offering Sign-on Bonus or Relocation 10K

Shift Schedule: Mon - Fri (6:30 AM - 4:30 PM, 10:30 AM - 9:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage daily operations of perioperative patient care services

· Provide clinical leadership through coordination and delegation of care

· Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes

· Maintain clinical competency within specialty

· Support staff development and professional growth

· Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation standards

· Assist in development of departmental policies and procedures

· Contribute to annual budgeting and financial oversight

· Implement evidence-based practice and quality improvement initiatives

· Interview, train, schedule, evaluate, and discipline staff as needed

· Promote high productivity and problem-solving within the team

Requirement:

· Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Required)

· Minimum 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse (Required)

· Operating Room experience (Required)

· Lead/Charge/Supervisory experience preferred

· Current Iowa RN License (Required)
