Ascend Mental Health Center | Idaho Falls, ID

Ascend Mental Health Center is a premier private practice in Idaho Falls dedicated to integrated behavioral health. We provide expert psychiatric medication management and specialized psychological/neuropsychological testing.

Our robust clinical team includes 8 psychiatric prescribers, 5 residents, and an elite testing department comprised of 2 Doctoral-level Psychologists and a Masters-level specialist. We pride ourselves on a clinician-first culture that balances professional autonomy with high-quality, evidence-based patient care.

The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Masters-level Clinician (LCPC, LCSW, or School Psychologist) who specializes in psychological and psychoeducational assessment. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in the data-driven world of testing and is passionate about providing families with a roadmap for success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Comprehensive Assessment: Conduct psychological and psychoeducational evaluations for pediatric and adult populations.
  • Testing Supervision: Provide clinical oversight for testing assistants to ensure standardized administration protocols.
  • Data Interpretation: Analyze results from standardized psychological and educational instruments to identify diagnostic profiles.
  • Expert Reporting: Synthesize complex data into high-quality, readable evaluation reports featuring tailored treatment recommendations.
  • Collaborative Feedback: Lead feedback sessions for patients, families, and referring providers to bridge the gap between data and daily life.
  • Interdisciplinary Coordination: Consult with our in-house psychiatric team to ensure a holistic approach to patient wellness.

Qualifications

  • Education: Masters degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or School Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Clinical Expertise: Demonstrated experience in the administration, scoring, and interpretation of standardized assessments (e.g., WISC-V, WAIS-IV, WJ-IV).
  • Communication: Exceptional clinical writing skills and the ability to communicate nuanced findings to non-clinical audiences.
