Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Emergency Department travel assignment requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and Epic proficiency, with night shifts and first-time travelers welcome.
Details
- Work setting is a hospital Emergency Department (ED)
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 2 weekend shifts or 4 weekend days required per 6-week period
- Holiday coverage required as needed
- No on-call responsibilities
- Level 2 Trauma experience preferred
Requirements
- Active NC or Compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in an Emergency Department required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Preferred certifications: CPI, PALS, and TNCC
- Epic EMR experience required
- Prior Charge RN experience preferred
- Driver's license required for consideration
- Two professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for this position
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- All RNs must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during the compliance process; two attempts are allowed
- Candidates should prepare for the EKG exam in advance, as study materials will not be provided by the facility
- Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
- Scheduling flexibility is expected
