Job Description
Join our team as a Production Helper where you will be responsible for material handling and machine operation, packaging and labeling finished products, and preparing products for shipping. You will assist with the setup and operation of automated production machinery that applies a weatherizing solution to large paper rolls used in the construction industry. Additional duties include shop cleanup and general assistance around the shop, as well as operating a forklift to move materials.
Responsibilities
- Handle materials and operate machinery.
- Package and label finished products for shipping.

Essential Skills
- Experience with forklift operation.
- Understanding of manufacturing and industrial environments.
- Proficiency in machine operation.
- Ability to handle materials efficiently.
- Experience with hand and power tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Adaptability to work in an industrial setting.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Work Environment
Work in an industrial manufacturing setting with heavy machinery. Personal protective equipment such as safety shoes, hard hats, earplugs, and safety glasses are required. Employees must be available to work any shift as the schedule rotates every 8 weeks between day, swing, and night shifts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of PORTLAND, OR.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.80 - $24.80/hr.
