Position Overview:
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Med Surg, Med Tele 7W
Location: Mercy Hospital South - 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, Missouri 63128
Schedule: Full-Time | 36 hours per week
Shift: Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $2,000
Qualifications
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent GED
Licensure:
- Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
- Must possess and maintain a valid LPN license in Missouri, adhering to all State Board of Nursing regulations
- Equivalent educational experience and successful licensure may be taken into account
Experience:
- Open to both new graduates and seasoned LPNs
Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (or to be obtained within 30 days of hire)
- LPN-IV Certification required prior to employment or within 3 months (up to 1 year based on unit needs)
Physical Requirements:
- Regular standing and walking throughout the shift
- Frequent bending, stooping, and assisting with patient lifting/turning
- Capability to push, pull, and grip weights up to 50 lbs
