Crawford Implant & Laser Periodontics is a private, two-doctor periodontal and implant practice located in St. Petersburg, Florida. We are a busy, well-established specialty practice seeking an experienced Dental Patient Coordinator to support our growing patient base.

This position is ideal for a dental professional who values professionalism, accuracy, and teamwork, and who is willing to roll up their sleeves to ensure exceptional patient care and efficient daily operations.

Key Responsibilities


Serve as a professional and welcoming point of contact for patients, in person and by phone

Coordinate and schedule periodontal and implant appointments efficiently

Verify dental insurance benefits accurately and in a timely manner


Communicate insurance information, scheduling details, and next steps clearly with patients

Work closely with doctors and clinical team to maintain smooth patient flow

Maintain accurate patient records, schedules, and insurance documentation

Anticipate needs, solve problems proactively, and support overall office operations

Qualifications


Minimum of 3 years dental office experience required


Previous dental front office or patient coordinator experience preferred

Dentrix experience strongly preferred


Proven experience with dental insurance verification

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Professional, confident communication style

Ability to multitask and remain focused in a fast-paced specialty practice

Big-picture thinker with strong attention to detail and accountability
