Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Embark on a rewarding opportunity supporting students as an Occupational Therapist within a full-time, full school year contract role. This itinerant position offers the unique experience of working across multiple school sites, serving students aged 3 to 22 with mild to severe multiple disabilities. You'll have the autonomy to create your own schedule in coordination with district needs, making this an excellent role for skilled professionals who thrive in flexible, dynamic environments.

Key Qualifications:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist, with expertise in school-based settings
  • Experience administering the BOT-3 and Peabody developmental skills assessments
  • Proficient in working with students who have a range of mild to severe multiple disabilities
  • Strong skills in data analysis for addressing parental concerns and crafting service recommendations
  • Comfortable with fluctuating caseloads—no cap on the number of students needing assessment or consultation
  • Confident traveling to several school sites weekly (itinerant role; travel between sites required)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessments, direct intervention, and consultative services for students with diverse needs
  • Use standardized assessment tools and data-driven insights to guide service recommendations
  • Collaborate closely with educators and families to develop individualized therapy plans
  • Adapt therapeutic approaches to meet each student’s unique needs in various school environments
  • Maintain documentation, progress records, and communicate clearly with staff and families
