Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day accounting functions, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure the company's financial data is up to date. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts
- Manage payroll entries and ensure timely processing
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with accounting policies and procedures
- Collaborate with external accountants or auditors as needed
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
- 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks (Online/Desktop) or similar accounting software
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
