Join our nonprofit organization as a HEAT Intake Assistant, earning $18.80/hour. This full-time role involves a consistent 8:30 am - 5:00 pm schedule, along with opportunities for community outreach during evenings and weekends.

About Us:
Founded in 1965, Utah Community Action is committed to supporting low-income families through programs such as Head Start, Adult Education, and HEAT. Our mission focuses on ending poverty and empowering individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service as the first point of contact
- Answer utility assistance calls and emails, and assist walk-in clients
- Educate clients on utility assistance programs
- Conduct initial screenings and process applications
- Schedule appointments and refer clients to community resources
- Participate in outreach events
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- MS Office experience
- Preferred: 2-year degree or higher, bilingual in Spanish or Arabic
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit/stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds
