Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a school in Sunnyvale, CA. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in school-aged children, collaborating with educators and families to support student communication development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings
- Monitor student progress and document outcomes
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals
- Participate in meetings and maintain compliance with school policies
Qualifications:
- Valid state SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working in school settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage caseload and maintain accurate records
