This position is designed for a professional ready to fill in for a maternity leave absense, supporting students from 4th to 7th grade. The contract runs from the beginning of May to the end of June, allowing for a focused and impactful engagement during this critical time.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Massachusetts SLP license
- Hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Authorization from MA DESE for school-based practice
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Location:East Falmouth, MA
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to a varied caseload of middle school students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student achievement.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and outcomes.
