Job Title: Healthcare Call Center Representative (Bulk Hiring)

Location: San Diego, CA

Duration: 03 months

Pay rate: $22-$24/Hr on W2 AI only


Training Schedule:

  • First 6 weeks onsite
  • Training Hours: MF, 8:30 AM 5:00 PM
  • Phase 1: Inclass training
  • Phase 2: 1- 2 weeks on phones (flexibility required for shift changes including 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM)

Work Schedule:

  • M-F 8a-6pm 1130-8pm and possible weekends Candidates need to be flexible to work all schedules to help with business need
  • Possibly could work remote after they pass training and the assessments
  • Would need dedicated workstation If they work on-site

Duties

  • Position Purpose: Responsible for quality communication between Health Plan and plan members, providers, employer groups, internal departments and external agencies.
  • Customer Care Must be customer focused and maintain a high level of knowledge regarding Health Plan benefits and procedures.
  • Uses knowledge and judgment to select appropriate resources for assisting callers.
  • Provides information on all aspects of Health Plan benefits, policies, and procedures. Problem Resolution Responsible for accurate problem solving.
  • Researches and resolves concerns.

Skills

  • Minimum of one year customer service experience.
  • Recent Call Center experience in healthcare industry is required.
  • Experience in taking between 60-80 calls a day, inbound and outbound
  • Ability to participate in the activities of the customer service area. Superior interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of current matters relating to health maintenance organizations, performance management, and customer satisfaction assessment and delivery. Basis computer and writing skills. CA Certifications and Licensure: Medical Office Certification to include Medical Technology, preferred.
  • More experience in health call centers - the better
  • Looking for candidates who have long term assignments, not short stints.
  • Knowledge of current matters relating to health maintenance organizations, performance management, and customer satisfaction assessment and delivery.
  • Basic computer and writing skills
  • Have worked in an environment that requires them to meet KPI’s
  • Client has strict KPI’s the workers must meet to stay in compliance with their position
  • Understanding HIPPA compliance, Medicare, service recovery, fast-paced environment, experience with handling grievance cases
  • Epic Experience preferred
  • Investigatory skills – researching and looking into inquiries • TalkDesk – preferred


Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
